Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
The Pastors and Elders would like to update you on the plan moving forward in reference to opening the church as well as all New York State and CDC Guidelines that we are mandated to follow. Please know a lot of time has been spend in prayer, reviewing guidelines and considering the safety of all as we try to put a plan in place moving forward during these unprecedented times.
Drive- In Service
It has been decided that starting on June 14th and continuing with June 21st and June 28th, River Community Church will offer BOTH a Facebook Live Service and a Drive-In Style Service. This is in an effort to try to accommodate both those who feel safer staying home as well as reaching those who have been isolated and are unable to connect each week online. In mid June your elders will meet again and establish a plan moving forward into July. Once these plans have been made we will sent out another communication. Please note the following guidelines we must adhere to for the drive-in service.
Our deacons have a small supply of pre-packaged Communion elements (juice and bread); however, it is fine if you and your family prefer to bring your own from home on Communion Sunday.
Please help us spread the word about our drive-in service. It is open to the community and everyone is welcome to join us. We can wait to see you there!!

Please note the following guidelines we must adhere to for the drive-in service.
- The church building will be locked. Bathrooms will NOT be available under any circumstance.
- Everyone MUST stay inside their own vehicle (unless you are participating in service). Anyone outside of his/her own vehicle will be asked to leave.
- Children MUST stay in the vehicle with their parents.
- There will be an offering box as you enter/leave service with no personal contact.
- Parking lot attendants will be available to help park and will be required to wear masks.
- EVERYONE is asked that they have a mask in their vehicle if communication with a parking lot attended is needed or there is a medical emergency.
